The Kauhale at Ewa Beach GC

The Ewa Beach Golf Club is located in the Ahupua'a of Honouliuli and is home to several prehistoric archaeological sites. Earliest record of occupation of the archaeological sites dates back as early as 1000 AD and were occupied through 1695 AD.

Pictured above is a residential complex called a Kauhale. This Kauhale is composed of three reconstructed enclosures, two of which have Hale, or shelters built on top of them. The Kauhale pictured is located near the first tee.
